Mutiple train stations within the same region on SCBI

I can't operate two train stations simultaneously within the same region on Simcity BuildIt. Is this a known issue?

You can have 1 million stations in the same region but they have no effect on how often you can dispatch trains.

You need to have more than one train to operate two stations simultaneously. It does not matter if your stations are in one or more regions.
