New design sucks

As someone who works in design, I’m honestly shocked by how terrible this new update is. The redesign of the global trade and trade depot is just plain awful—tiny icons, the text is hard to read, and a layout that makes zero sense. And don’t even get me started on the back button—it’s in the most inconvenient spot possible and makes switching between cities painfully slow. It feels like usability was completely ignored. I wish I never got the new update

  • The colour scheme is too bright.  The scroll initial point reverses depending if you are switching tabs or entering from the city screen.  I always wished they would save your scroll point so you wouldn't have to scroll between refreshes (it works that way with other things).  They should also do it like HayDay did with the items purchased greyed out rather than removing between refreshes so that the boxes won't get reordered.

What we really need is graphics and colour scheme options.  Like minimal rendering so that shops would load fast without loading the whole city.  Or low render trains so that it wouldn't slow the game or heat up your device from the gpu cycles.  Or retaining the view you prefer upon initial loading.

It's not all awful though.  They seem to have prioritized the shop rendering so that the city doesn't slow it down as much.  The tabs interface are a great feature for speed purchases.  And finally!... we can access our own shop when visiting.

  • Too much scrolling! Global Trade is now clunky. They continue to roll updates out with minimal if any testing !
