No to shield buster
I write this as a loyal Sims buildit player. Spend countless hours and real dollars. Sims does not care about us. We give them our time and money. And they slap us in the face, while forcing us to c...
Sounds decent. They bring the weak player back up and kill them again and again is what is happening. And yes, we sleep too. A sleep shield would be nice. Will probably cost more than it's worth though. Or limit the use of a shield buster to every 4 hours.
It's the most OP thing in the game now
There will never be a perfect game, because different people play it differently and hence, want the game mechanics to cater to their style and ideology.
On one hand you have those who find hiding under shields cowardly and boring, and prefer constant engagement. On the other hand, you have those who cannot babysit the game constantly, and need shields as respite for the times when they need to attend to life.
For me, I don't see either as right or wrong. It's all just personal views and preferences.
I can agree to what you said, but the club wars isn't a new game. It has been introduced years ago as a strategic game.
Lots of people has spend their money (like MiesRotterdam) to play this strategic game.
With the new shield buster it has become a (in my opinion very brainless) 36 hour shootout game without any strategy, not playable for people with a real life and for strategy loving people it is no longer worth playing it.
For me, it's totally wrong to turn the type of a long running game into the opposite.
I know how you feel, but that was the point I was trying to make.
While you find it unplayable now, there are others who have found the shield buster a great change for them. Because it gives them the game they want, at your expense.
I'm just a casual war player who just wants to get chests and fulfil COM assignments, so it doesn't really bother me whichever way. Just trying to point out that changing something can make a game worse for one person and better for another.
Not only at my expense (I didn't spend any real money for disaster cards), but at the expense of thousands of people who spent millions of dollars to play a strategic game.
Will they get their money back?
@Invisiblez9 Well said regarding it being different methods for different people. However, I don’t view hacking as a legit means of game play. Since EA has done nothing about it for years and shows no signs of ever doing anything I believe it’s in the interest of legit players to favour mechanics which keep the game reasonably fair, ensuring legit clubs can compete and players have fewer incentives to hack in the first place. Shield buster works strongly against that objective. If it weren’t for hackers I wouldn’t really care one way or the other about shield buster.
