Not enough available storage...

I keep getting an error message that there is not enough available storage on my mobile device, yet there is 16gigs still available on that device... I doubt a mobile game would require over 16gigs of available space to make a save file!

How can I fix this? please don't tell me to clean up my storage, I have a 32GB Samsung S7... And as I said, there is 16GB of free space on it at the moment!

Thanks
KingSephir

    Hi

I have had this problem once. Just like you I had many GB of free storage. What helped me was the usual solution to any computer/phone problem; shut down the phone and turn it on again. You probably already tried it, in which case just ignore what I wrote

hope you will solve it 🙂

So far, clearing the data and cache is the only way I managed to workaround the issue, but I need the relog and redo the tutorial every single time... this gets annoying as hell when you need to do it every other day ☹️

Try updating the game if possible.  Or if using an emulator (bluestacks, etc..) try to update the emulator software.  If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall game (and emulator if applicable).   If that doesn't work,  use a device ID changer (search the app store) and tell the app that you have much more storage (and more powerful processor and ram if you are feeling adventurous, but if you notice performance dragging, or game crashing, set the cpu and ram back to where they were before and just increase storage).   If that doesn't work, well,  I hope someone actually reads these.  lol

That's not a real solution, but a tedious workaround. I'm not using an emulator. Uninstalling the game works, for 2-3 days, but I need to redownload, re-install, redo the tutorial... it shouldn't be like this. There is a reason for that free space check and it should be fixed
  • This has just started on me  - first time ever. Multiple times today. Working on Kindle Fire HD. Its got at least 22gb storage free. I totally wiped and did factory reset about a month ago.

And yet today I'm getting there's not enough storage on device, progress may not be saved.  I have 22gb free (a repeat for emphasis!).  So I shut down lose progress?!

Earlier I did switch it off did a full hard reboot. And yet faced with same message a few hours later.

Feels like pretty lazy programming !

I"ve been having this issue for some time now, however, I have never had any negative issue (i.e. the changes have always been saved). I can live with the notices, has anyone actually not had their changes saved?

    Hi @Jopdu,

Could you try the advise shared in this thread please and see if that helps? If it hasn't, please pop open a new thread on this. I'll lock this one here as it's a bit of an oldie that's been necro'd.

    Thanks,
