Sorry Im not following. I understand the 2x2 but how do I count it when looking at my city?

I mean the top picture he has in his post.
Just count each residence as 2 wide, and extrapolate as you move across. Most buildings are 2x2, 3x3, 4x2 etc. It's reasonably easy to judge their size by looking at them or by selecting a specialty building and hovering it over drop zone.- Approved
