Omega Canisters and Double Trouble

Your Omega Update has bad math for the Canisters. (Actually it has bad math all through it and seems to have been designed by someone who hasn't actually played the game)

I have rounded off the hours as they do vary. However, they come close to the times below for me. I am also just using one Lab and one Research Center for the example.

The bottom line is that the Double and Triple Canisters are BAD. They use more time and give you fewer items than if you just got single canisters and kept plugging along. 

Single Canister =   1 Neo Items and 2 Regular Items (3 Total)
Double Canister = 2 Neo Items and 4 Regular Items (6 Total)
Triple Canister =    3 Neo Items and 6 Regular Items (9 Total)

Single Canister = 2 Hours to Process 3 Items
 Processing in Lab 1 Hour + Research Center 1 Hour (Rounded Hours; could be a bit more or less)

Double Canister = 8 Hours to Process 6 Items
 Processing in Lab 5 Hours + Research Center 3 Hours

Triple Canister = 10 Hours to Process 9 Items
 Processing in Lab 7 Hours + Research Center 3 Hours

Canisters can produce the following:
