Omega Update - Rare items

So I have mixed feelings about the update. My main issue is that even after using £7.99 of my hard earned cash to buy 550 Simcash to speed up the Omega Lab and Omega Research centre, I'm finding that...

Just be patient! Before you know it, hover boards will be the chosen item and you won't be able to get enough of them. It seems like it rotates, right now for me it's the cryogenic chamber. At one point last week, I needed 7 to upgrade all 5 of my omegas. It's like EA purposely holds back a different item each week to make it more challenging. That's only a theory, the fact is that every mayor is chasing the same items to increase storage and bank capacities at the same level. So if you are at the 5th upgrade level for storage and it is requiring 5 items each, every single mayor trying to upgrade their storage at your level is trying to acquire the same items. However, knowing this does not help you acquire the needed items, just maybe reduces the frustration level..

I don't think that's how it works, it's hardly like there is a finite amount of a particular item available at anyone time, for each mayor/city. The game is fixed to force people into paying for Simcash, pure and simple... if you can't see that then you're being conned without realising.

    No, that is how it works because I verified it with other players. We were all at the same upgrade level & what was required was identical for each of us. I don't know how EA distributes the available pieces but my point was you have multiple players chasing the same items. So my comments are based on facts, your theory seems to be speculation or opinion

    All of you people who constantly complain about EA forcing us to spend money is getting old. They are a for profit company so they generate their income through gaming. If that's a problem you shouldn't play. if you believe they are doing something wrong in order to separate us from our hard earned cash, then you are too paranoid

    I have multiple devices too, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads and 3 Android devices.... I based my opinions on fact, go astro-turf somewhere else.

    What I do get is that you don't know what you are talking about. Just another player who thinks they have it figured out, who thinks their opinion is always right but with little to back it up with., You are so busy I wouldn't want you to waste your precious time explaining anything to dumb, old me because I would not understand it anyway. I didn't realize that you were the authority now on how this game works. Had I known, maybe I would have got to 4 million sims sooner
