Only simoleans for watching ads???
Why, all of a sudden, do I only get simoleans for a prize after watching an advertisement? I use to get random prizes, but now only simoleans. 23 times in a row so far...the game seems to be "rigge...

Something is definitely rigged. Won 1000 cash in the Contest of Mayors TWO WEEKS ago and i haven't won cash out of a single box since then. Not only that but nearly every single box i open has Simoloeans for the prize. I've opened probably about 60 boxes and i'd say at least 50 of them were Simoloeans and the rest were random items....but no cash whatsoever. I'm starting to take pictures of every box i open cause this is pretty shady.

Like many of you guys, I have been wondering for weeks what I might have done to unplease the game, until I read BulletWrath's post about winning Simcash during the Mayor's contest.
In my case I earned only 5 cash (little prize) almost one month ago and since then I win only simoleans for watching ads.
Still, I have a friend who has just started with Mayor's contests, has started the game only a few weeks ago without winning any cash yet and is experiencing the very same issue.
We only get simoleans or produced objects, NEVER cash, keys or special objects for enhancement purposes.
The game is not the same, I was having fun but I don't anymore. I have spent some time to optimize and enhance my city (joined in December, I am lvl 25 with 550k inhabitants, 16 epic buildings).
As this is not a bug but a feature designed by EA, I will probably give up with the game and find an other game to enjoy.
This is really a shame because I was ready to buy the game as I could buy it for PC AND EVEN continue to watch the adds because it adds some surprises in the game. I hate in-app purchases and I will never spend a dime this way.

Yes this simoleans only for watching ads is a massive problem, really annoying. As is the fact that when you click on the blue thought bubbles, nothing seems to happen now. I clicked on them this morning & usually at least half would give me something. But this time only 1 gave me a digger type expansion thing, that was it. Don't like the road they are going down with this.
Love the game, but not liking these changes at all, and these changes make it almost impossible to expand without paying for stuff. That I will never do.
