I've been playing the game since before the monthly pass (August 2016). Honestly seasonal currency is something that should be discontinued, besides nerfing the premium pass, they just nerfed the weekly seasonal shop too! Last season it was costing 135 seasonal coins to get 3 town expansion items (you could buy them 5 times and the total was 15 items at the final value of 1460 seasonal coins) so in 4 weeks we were able to get 60 expansion items in 4 weeks. Now you have to pay 4000 for 1 item of each and can only buy them up to 2 times.
For players who can't buy the premium pass, I'm sorry to tell you, but it will be impossible to complete the album, as one of the items is costing 36,600 (week 1) and you won't even get close in the free pass (even if you complete the pass in 1 week)
Nowadays if you buy the premium pass you receive not even half of what you received before these seasonal coins:
Now: 75,000 Simoleons > 40 golden keys > 34,500 Neo Simoleons > 85 platinum keys > 12,000 War Simoleons > 3500 regional currencies (I'm leaving out Speedup Tokens, Vu Items, Golden Tickets, Simcash, Town Deed, Beach and Mountain.)
