I would really love to see a way to speed up the production of the raw materials in the Factories so that you can get to making real products sooner. Some of those raw materials take at least 6 hours to complete. Something like the Epic projects, but for the factories or even perhaps upgrading the Nano Factories to 3 stars to speed things up.
You're given such a high quantity of factories, I don't see why it's needed. Often I have items sitting in factories for hours or even a day before collecting them/having the room to collect them. It's very rare that I don't have what is needed from factories. The only thing that I'm constantly running out of is Flour Bag and I have 3 factories dedicated to producing flour bags alone. They're collected every 3 hours and immediately put back into production.
With the proper variation of production in commercial buildings, you should never run out of anything.
I would love a method to speed up factory production as well.
When I sit down to play, I want to play. Not queue up a bunch of production to come back 3 hours later.
With the high cost of nano factories, it should have another benefit such as the ability to upgrade speed by some % at three tiers like commercial buildings.
Or some of 'rush order' Token.
That and the ability to re-order queues in the commercial buildings.
When you are doing an Epic Project and you have 4 of them asking for 5 glass or 5 Electric components, you have hit a wall. And more and more now you complete one and it comes right back up. Luckily with the mayor's contest going on it has been possible to buy these items in the Market. But it would be nice to be able to speed those up.

I must have been extremely lucky then. Out of the 8 Cheetah building's I've made so far I have never been asked for the same Industry item more than once and they're rare that they come up at all. I had one that I needed 12-15 drills, which required EC, but I already had enough in inventory to complete them, so it was pretty much fill up the commercial building with drills and go go Cheetah ranger.
If the game is indeed working against you as I believe it is, if you stock up on all the things that take longer to make, the ones you'll be repeating are the ones that are quick to make. I've used that philosophy with the last 4 cheetah buildings I've made and it seems to hold true. I'm convinced that how you stock up on items is more important than anything else although I've changed how I stock up on items slightly. Anything that takes longer than 2 hours to make, stock up 10 of each item (or more) anything 30min-2hr stock up 5 and only keep a few of things less than 30 min to make and at least in my game, it tends to repeat the ones that can be made quickly. I've also considered items that are quick and easy to find in the market vs. rare in the market, so you may want to stock up on meat, watermelon, flour bags, cheese and Cream too, possibly others, but that's always been my main bottleneck.
