@RioValley  your i phone operates similar to android system in way of accepting cookies. therefore you allowed your device to accept those 3rd party cookies and that is how you gave them permission to change settings on your device. go to your settings, certificates and remove the ads certificates or block them through your firewall.  your apple i phone tech dept can help on that.  i don't have an i phone but am sure it has firewall cause your device is not cheap like an android phone. hope that helps.
