I am fed up too. I do all the high scoring assignments, except Wars, but then get offered ones that score 2000, 1500, 1200, 1000, 960. I never get to megalopolis as I can’t catch up with the top scorers, or even the bottom of the top level, so that I can get my final prize. It is soul destroying after spending hours getting from neighbourhood level to be within 10,000 of getting the final prize. I have done it twice and only have one more chance before the season ends. My husband plays with me via Facebook to help me with items that I need. If it is because I don’t do Wars then, at 70, I won’t play any more as I am not interested in attacking my neighbours. If I wanted to do that I would play one of the war games that my husband likes. My grandchildren also like to play with me, should I really be encouraging them to play war games? Make the game fair for all players and offer enough points to to allow us to at least reach the top in a season.

50K scores within the start of the contest seems a bit fishy, but 100K+ by the end of the contest are perfectly normal.
Played Megalopolis for the 1st time last week, and ended up with 105K in 2nd place. And that was without doing all the maximum point assignments available. Made the mistake of picking a few quick and easy 1K or 1.4K tasks at the start, which probably cost me 1st place overall, as I was only about 3 to 4K points behind the eventual winner.
Now, I’m a tad paranoid about getting mistakenly reported and banned for cheating for hitting 100K+, that I screenshotted every assignment I completed this week (just in case).

I don’t think 100k+ will warrant an accusation of cheating...unless of course you put 30k up in the last 15 minutes. The problem is cheating will continue to be rampant until EA steps up and defines the rules. My best estimate is 40% of the participants are cheating and 90% of those don’t even realize it. I don’t know whether there is a way to cheat but I just finished a contest in which I got 112k ( no cheat, I don’t know how) placed 12th. The guy who won it had 135k, the second guy 134k, and there were several other had more than 120k. It’s very frustrating. I have more than 2k of platinum and golden key which are honestly earned. I hope they didn’t put me in so called cheater server because I can’t compete with those score.
- There most definitely is cheating in some cases. Some hackers have an unlimited supply of cash and items that allow them to breeze through tasks very easily. If all other aspects of your game seem normal you probably aren’t on a cheat server, you may have got grouped in with a competitive league based on your past performance.
Thanks ROccodonavan8. I’m definitely not a cheater. My highest score in a challenge was 118k but ..134k it seems impossible in a challenge which most of assignments are given 1.6 thru 2k, sometimes 3k but rarely. How did they get more than 130k, it’s beyond me.
