Are you talking about SimCity Deluxe? This is an almost entirely different game. It doesn't have the traditional SimCity cheat code options. If you want unlimited funds, they want you to pay for it with your credit card.

If you cannot afford to buy then do not buy. It is NOT unfair and you are not entitled to anything free from EA.
Fair is fair. Everything being equal.
But EA is entitled to my money, for me playing a game I did not buy?
If i bought the game, sure they can have my money and I will enjoy the relationship between consumer and producers. But pay to play is not how games should work outside of arcade settings.
