Re: EA GREED

It's a freemiun game. If you want to advance quickly in the game and have nothing to do after a week of playing you can spend money do to that. Me, I haven't spent a single dime on the game and have no real issues with the game. I am slowly building my Future city and its coming along just fine.

Why does everyone think its a crime that EA is a for profit company? As if they are the evil empire. And people talk about loyalty-what kind of loyalty is needed or shown to a free game? How do you expect EA to make games available if they dont make a profit? Do you think EA's employees do this for free? Would you?

And those people who criticize players for spending money to further their enjoyment of this game. You act like these people are the undead. There is nothing wrong with the choice to spend money, I personally dont want to wait 24 hours for each cargo -plane to take off. People accuse spenders of cheating or he who has the most money will win. Thats absolutely correct in our capitalistic society ( see professional sports in the US).

It is not an inalienable right to play this or any other game-and for free. You can choose at any time to stop playing and you wont lose your civil liberties. Some of you rant and babble on about the game being unfair or biased or anything else to justify whatever frustrations you are experiencing at that moment. Life is not fair, business is not fair, war is not fair...The problem with the Omega update for example is that it is harder than the previous parts of the game were and humans dont like things that are harder.

There are other things in life to complain about, real things, things that matter. You could be unemployed, or homeless or live in Texas in July. But if you continue to be so inclined as to complain about this game, at least complain direct to EA and spare the rest of us the misery of having to read it.

PS EA does not read these boards

    Have a nice holiday...or not

I read somewhere that over 100 developers worked for over two years to put this game out. What kind of investment do you think that entailed? Plus aren't EA obligated to recoup that investment? Nothing is free, and certainly not a game as good as this.

Oh wait. It is. Don't spend any money if you don't want to. It's that simple. So much whining about saying "yes" to the option of spending money on this game.
