  • @CupertinoV In the past the solved this kind of issue in 24 hours. Not this time. Somebody has issues with Android?

    I play the game on a 16gb ipad mini 2 ios 12.4 and as an “emergency” solution, on a 32gb iphone SE, same ios version. The game began crashing after the xmas update, but it only did so on the ipad and only when trying to get to the capital city.

    @jflpfd  unfortunately not. I would have done the downgrade very willingly. 

    72 hours and nothing news. EA is silent.

    Just checking in, and feeling disappointed by the lack of any news regarding a fix to this problem. I too wish we could downgrade the game to the previous version - personally I wouldn't care about missing the new content, just want to able to play again!!!

    The response (or rather a lack of one at the moment) this time is even worse than the last crash-prone update I mentioned in my earlier post (it took about 24 hours after people here reported the problem that EA responded with a fix). Even if less of us reported having this problem compared to last time, it is unacceptable for EA to leave us like this.

    As president of a mayors' club, I had planned to hold a war yesterday. Now I have no chance to explain why there's no war and why I'm going incommunicado on my  fellow members :-(

  • Hi @niterhk  I understand you very well. Fortunately, I can chat with the members of my club by Messenger. This morning my friends start a new war and in more than 4 hours the system can't give us an opponent. It's again caused by the upgrade ?? Does nobody start a war ?? I don't know.. I write again to EA to ask a downgrade ... I'm not interested in the Santa Claus factory or sea ​​waves with reflections. I only want to play ... 

  • This is so frustrating.  I can't even get the game to load as it crashes as soon as it hits my home city.  I have no way of letting my war team know what's going on!  Hopefully the President figures it out that it's because of the crashing issue.  4 days and countering for me not being able to play.  I'm playing on an ipad. From reading other posts it seems to be an Apple issue or at least a lot of Apple product people are complaining about the crashing.

    @roccodonovan8 many thanks for your tips. Actually I'm playing with Ipad and IPhone XS.Both have the same IOS update. With Ipad I cannot play for crashes. I do have any problem with Iphone. Ipad as you can imagine is easier. I had done all the procedure you indicate with no results. Done again now and no result. What is strange is the total lack of reaction by EA after more that 3 days. Competition is suffering, war is suffering club is suffering....

    No, @CupertinoV... still waiting for a new update to pop up in the App Store. It's almost the fourth day of being locked out of this game and it's really frustrating. If EA is taking the time to try to correct all the problems introduced by this update, hope they also fix the war problem you mentioned earlier with your club.

  • This version 1.30.2 update really messed things up. I was in the middle of a war and was suppose to start another one on Friday. As soon as the game loads it crashes. I hope EA fixes this problem fast, I’m getting withdrawal symptoms.

    congrats EA u borked a load of players and do nothing about it great customer service. congrats EA great job u borked apple ipad air  players and then say nothing ...no update..no fix ..no sorry ... absolutely nothing..great job
