Hi @meja3352 - You probably have your old city saved on Google Play (you can save to Google Play without connecting to Facebook). Maybe there was a delay in connecting to it when you restarted your Kindle, or you were playing offline when you couldn't find your old city. Unfortunately, you can't restart (and keep) the new city, as it will continue to be overwritten by the old one once you connect online to your save. You can play offline with the new city for quite some time, but it will eventually force you to reconnect for updates and then you'll lose your progress and revert back to the old city. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/simcity/simcity-buildit/simcity-buildit-offline/
You cannot delete saved cities, but you can rearrange or bulldoze the whole thing to start over if you'd like. https://answers.ea.com/t5/SimCity-BuildIt-Support/INFO-Restarting-in-SimCity-BuildIt-amp-Offline-play/m-p/5032992#M5790
Hope that helps explain the weirdness - Happy Building!
