The point is that EA sells a product wich is not conform.
They don't care, they don't hear, they don't act... It's obvious and easy to proof with the logs here in this forum.
You should ask for a refund since the beginning of war.

- I just played and witnessed a player Hamerwrengler using wallhack, speedhack, aimbot.
He cheated also yesterday on the Bespin maps. He was reported by other players but still not banned. There should always be a form of admin overwatch system. Ban 1 week for first cheat, a month the second time, 3 months the 3rd time, 6 months and a lawsuit the 4th time for destruction of digital property, the 5th time banned for life in that specific game. Interesting, I have a little different take on it - once the individual or club has been reported and EA has done an extensive and thorough investigation and the accused is determined to be in violation, immediately ban them for life and disable their device so that it can not be used for this game ever again. Yes they can buy another device and start playing their feeder city, but it will cost them real money to cheat.
EA needs to change their policy and tell the world (without mentioning the name - liability issues) that a mayor was found to be in violation and this is what action was taken. It would go a long way toward building the confidence of loyal and honest patrons.
- We both and many others agree that bans should be fair and harsh after an investigation has concluded that the person reported has cheated. My reason for suggesting that the bans should for a defined period to start with is that I have my aelf been accused of cheating, this has never been the case and I have always gone free after the reported accusations of me. I just play very well sometimes and get lucky at other times. But if I was wrongly banned, it would help that I knew it was only for a period of time. And I also believe that most people /kids quickly learn after a ban or 2 that its not okay and stop cheating. Yes I still have a little faith in mankind. First ban could also be a month to start with then they might learn it quicker.
@Duckups In all due respect they can and it’s not that difficult...they simply choose not to invest the appropriate focus and hide behind the “name and shame” policy - absolutely no accountability. It’s really shameful and sad.
