Re: SimCity BuildIt: Reports and Feedback.

Let’s define the problem...two clubs of relative rank agree to a battle so all their players can participate and can enjoy the game without the ever present expectation that their opponents will run and hide the rest of the war whether ahead or not. So they elect to schedule the war at the same time in hopes of the system matching them together and if that occurs they participate in a full length battle and so what if they win more chests, more simcash, and more specific items...they earned that by showing up and staying the course of the battle and both clubs enjoyed the game (after all isn’t that the point of playing a game)...I commend and congratulate them on their ingenuity...you ought to try it sometime.

What I believe is a real problem are these clubs that elect to take advantage of this silly glitch in this game that allows folks to get ahead and then take their ball and run home...they call it a strategy, I call it selfish. You deprive others the right to participate in what they signed up for...did you realize that some clubs are only able to participate in one war per week and you go and pull this stunt. Of course I understand it’s their responsibility not to let you get ahead but you need to understand that real life comes first and sometimes folks can’t always be there at the beginning no matter the start time...but they still should have the right to participate. Simple question, is your club so inept that they are afraid to fight to the end?

This “strategy” has forced the top clubs to adjust their games and play accordingly and have caused many clubs that play for the fun of the game to quit playing the war game (not fun anymore) or completely left the game (knowing full well EA won’t do anything about it). You’re far from winners although you may be ahead on the scoreboard....the only thing anyone can give you is the benefit of the doubt, you have to earn respect or disdain...guess which one you’re earning everyday?

This is a much greater problem than cheaters and hackers, even Naming and Shaming....EA you need to address this situation...now!!!

This is not a discussion about if hiding under the bubble is good or bad practice. What me and jv0088 are talking about is far beyond this.
Let's define the problem again: There is a method to get matched up for war with a specific club. Some clubs are not using this method to play a real battle, they misuse this method to something I would call a "Resources collecting session". These clubs has been only created for one reason ... farming war items (the good ones for magnetism attacks), golden chests to get higher level disasters and war cash. And after they have collected enough resources they rejoin to their main club and playing a real battle against an opponent team who is wondering how they can get this ridiculous high number of magnetism attacks and boosters.

  • As this has become an educational exercise let me state that it should be jv0088 and I...grammar tells you a lot about someone. Second,  I am keenly aware of feeder cities and feeder clubs and what you may or may not know is that the use of a second city for the purpose of “feeding” the primary city is illegal per EA’s legally appointed representatives (I have that in writing from October 2017)...don’t worry it’s a moot point because like most things EA will not enforce it. Which means feeder clubs participating in a war against each other is apparently acceptable.

Maybe you can educate me, I am aware legitimate clubs work together via Facebook to coordinate “no hide” wars, are these “feeder clubs” using a  method to schedule these wars outside the normal process?

When you state as fact your opinion (ie: maximum available war item level) and argue the point with more knowledgeable individuals it begins to impact credibility. Simply put, technically this is no worse than cheating because it is cheating...and I stand by my comment that the “strategy” you promote and advocate is much worse as documented throughout this forum and from the 700+ individuals that have shared with me they quit the war games or have quit playing altogether...they didn’t quit because of cheaters, they quit from boredom. Just the simple cold hard facts.

Thank you for teaching me english grammar. There is absolutely no need for a feeder city in the described scenario. People can leave there main club (lets say an arena 4 club) and create a new club by spending 50 simcash. They can play some arena 1 wars in this new created club. They can attack the opponent cities only with non magnetism items and keeping the magnetism items in storage. If they are lucky, they can earn extra war cash by repairing their damages. At the end of each war they are earning their chests. If they have collected enough items the can rejoin to their main club taking all their collected items with them. There is nothing illegal in each of this points by itself. Is it some kind of cheating if all these points are used together? Maybe yes.
If an arena 4 team, temporary playing an arena 1 war, is matched up for war with a random team, the points and items they are able to collect are very limited, because of the typically poor performance of the arena 1 club. But if they get matched up with a well known club they are only limited by time.
You must be a very busy person when you have asked 700+ people for their reasons why they have quit playing the club wars. If all these people don't like the game and are bored, isn't it normal that they quit playing this game? Thousands of people are playing the game every day. Do you really think all these people playing it again and again because they are so bored?

  • I’ve not solicited anyone, I have been contacted by many of these individuals, their club Presidents and some of theif club members sharing with me...the reason is 2 fold they agree with my stand on the “strategy”  and I’ve assisted many in helping find an appropriate club or helping strong and supportive Presidents find good people. Folks started getting bored when teams like yours ran and hid...regardless of winning they got tedup and gave up hope EA would correct the issue. For the most part they enjoyed the war game until it became watching paint dry.

What you just shared is not consistent with what you shared earlier but that’s ok...folks have been playing in multiple clubs since the beginning of the war games and it’s no surprise they are playing different levels as well. I know several folks that participate in this manner and have heard there is very little competition and in turn very few chests to win or repairs to make. Personally I have not participated in this manner but based on what I’ve heard I suspect this is not the primary source of the added magnetism...but that’s only an opinion.

I will not question your thousands of people playing the game and enjoying it, but if you are honest you must admit the clear majority of folks that participate in this forum view the “strategy” in a very negative light...in fact I’ve only come across 4 that promote it. Of course more participate using it because they feel they have to and have no choice...which may be correct, but it’s not right.
