Rocco gave an answer, he didn't give a solution. And I want it to be clear how it is very false to make believe something different from reality. It's not something that doesn't work in the game, it's something misleading. Why doesn't the support answer this question?

It appears to me that the message is quite clear - "All Hot Spots give 3 times the usual amount of epic points"
As explained, Hot Spot is NOT a "generic term":

It is unfortunate that you misunderstood, and it can certainly be frustrating when that happens. I'm sorry, but I absolutely don't agree. Hot Sposts in Italian game it is translated as "places of interest" and in the instructions the places of interest (hot spots) are ALL those in the categories Education, Transportation, Entertainment and Gambling. More. in the link of rocco I quote: "Each Region has its own set of Hot Spots that fit the Region theme, but all Hot Spots can be built in any Region or Capital City." so I ask: if I can build them in any region, why don't they still give me triple points even if they are in the main region?

@sniccoli66 - Since it appears that you are speaking about a translation issue in this post, I've forwarded on the information. Since this is a limited time promotion, I would suggest that you take screen shots of anyplace it says "Places of Interest" instead of "Hot Spots" in the promotion dialog.
