Fully agree - the decision to hide the Club Chat icon is crazy. Communication during events is crucial and this update had killed this communication.

It makes no sense whatsoever - I now have to remember to check whether someone has posted a message in chat, which may be an urgent request for them, rather than simply seeing a simple alert when they post.

PLEASE re-instate the Club Chat link/icon on the main screen.
