Pinnacle let me tell you about the dark side. I have been playing 4 yrs and my city built a lot of resources playing CoM but at level 87 and 510 storage it’s very tough for war supplies and vu tasks. I don’t want to go to a higher level and the way to stop that is to cease playing CoM. I also sold all my airport items because they were only for CoM tasks where I was demolishing and rebuilding (and going up levels as a result). It gave me more space in storage. And ceasing CoM has stabilized the costs of war items (if I could go backwards in time and stop CoM earlier I would!). Now I just do non-building tasks for the speed up tokens. CoM is a problem at L87.
So on the dark side I formed the “unfairly sent here” club. There’s a guy who did hack his city who visited and gave me a lot of info - and hope. One unanswered question is will progress be saved? He says yes. This is complicated for me because I lost progress when I got bumped (progress made with cards I bought and all I want is EA to verify purchases - hitting players who buy cards is nonsensical to me) so apparently I have two issues - ⚽ getting off cheats island and 🏈 recovering my progress. Because this has been a problem with other players I was advised by my President to screenshot progress and I have that evidence.
The guy who joined my club suggested we focus on storage. So I thought great idea. So after 4 days in prison I resumed production. The issue is the global market - I made my simeolons fortune with the donut strategy it doesn’t work here, they don’t sell. I started buying Vu in the market - 32 items in a few hours of searching for storage so using disasters I can gain keys and consume production. But it’s a limited market of a few players there is no more vu and no more storage. I have managed one storage upgrade in two days including paying so cash for about 16 storage items. This is a good deal provided I keep the storage when I return and the progress I make here is additional to the progress I lost when I was sent here and still hope to recover. I just want to explain that EA are technically meeting their terms and conditions here but at my stage of the game I can’t progress here beyond +5 storage - all I want is to go back to my club and participate in war it’s really upsetting, frustrating and there is no possibility for enjoying this experience. I thank you for your positive suggestions, it’s very nice of you - this feedback is to give you an insight to the dark side which I hope you never experience. Also I might add I have had some great player support from those who know me. They advise switching devices combined with my progress may have caused this but I will never really know because the new triggers are a secret. I did rapidly switch devices to access chat - and I was trying to disconnect internet and switch to mobile coverage to see if that improved connectivity to chat. Apparently switching devices quickly is something hackers do so please warn people not to do that no matter how much you want to thank someone in chat! This is the risk and it’s awful. I kept getting the “no connectivity” message that has emerged in recent weeks. But clearly there was connectivity otherwise why would SCB computers have known I was switching devices? This thought makes me incredibly angry. I was only switching because of SCB messages. And clearly it was due to connectivity that I tripped over a trigger.
