How do you get regional parts besides the store.
After playing the new region for a few hours, I think it's great to have more land and places to put buildings we have stored. I think it will be fun and a positive addition to the game.
Some constructive feedback for improvement:
1. I think we need an easier way to unlock more storage OR have storage be separate per region.
5000 population and 5000 of the region currency (more on that below) is a bit steep for unlocking a new regional city storage - we almost need that right away upon opening up the region. And that's not enough.
2. The regional currency is hard to earn. Upon creating regional residential zones, everyone moved out before I had enough regional currency to build the regional building - street food stall (limestone cliffs region). It required 300 of the lime simoleons, but I didn't earn that many lime simoleons from the new residents moving in. It would be nice if there was a way to get lime simeleons taxed in the new region. And, selling items from the regional factories in the global trade HQ would be ideal if they give currency for that region. It seems like the only way to earn regional currency right now is by upgrading buildings or from selling to the sims that pop up within that region.
3. The price markup for services I think should be reset in the new region - particularly maxis manor. I am finding the new region is mostly costing me money without a way to earn it back.
4. Daily bonus chest should not give me region items for a region I do not have unlocked. They aren't useful to me.
5. It would be VERY helpful to have more than 1 new factory in the region. 1 Mulberry Grove is hard to micro manage. Can more unlock upon population increase?
I agree completely with @RagingShrew , a really good consistent points, with the 4 point, I still haven't received an article from another city by daily reward, but the ads have gave me articles from another region, obligatorily to sell them, I suppose, I received a wheel, I was thinking that it was to expand the terrain, until I realized that it was from another region, I had to sell it, because I have unlocked limestone in reality. So it doesn't make much sense
And to add another point:
6. It would be really good, now that we will be spinning between cities, have access to some kind of reminder notes... (I'm beginning to understand how little comfortable this is), when i started to upgrade the buildings, i bought nines new buildings, and i realized they both want items for the capital and the region city (and also a tokyo building in my capital city want regional item), so, this was me:'' Ok this building need a watermelon thing, ok and this need 4 nails, and this 4 metals, and this need one measuring thing, and this need a shovel, and this two need glasses, and another one need some wood, ok lets go to the capital. When i was in the capital, i starting making the watermelon, and i was '' how many metals i need? 3? or 4? and what were the other things? Oh no!! i forgot that, I have to go back to review'' I don't know if I'm very stupid, but I had to make notes so I would not have to be going back every moment to check. It would be good if we could have a panel where we keep that, and being in the capital we can review what we need
Hi there, My club hate having the new regions. How do we delete them? This is really putting me off.
While I like the idea of new regions, I would have appreciated more expansion opportunities in our Capital Cities. Many similar games have tried this approach in the past and ultimately lost users, not made more revenue from the App Store. For now, I’ve bulldozed my residences until we are given a way to actually MAKE money ( regional currencies) or CONVERT tax revenue from our Capitals to our regions. Great idea guys but I sink enough money into maintaining one city. I’ll patiently wait for updates and announcements that will help us...not ultimately make us spend more real money for play money. Sorry EA.
I can confirm what's the feeling in my club: people are simply run away. Update can be exciting, but the implementation resulted to be useless, boring, too hard to handle. weaker player are so penalized that only players with money or chests are enjoying it
