Same assignments in the contest of mayors?
Twice now in this contest, I have finished an assignment and claimed, only to have it replaced by exactly the same assignment. Just finished producing and collecting 54 animal feed and the new assign...

Yep obviously some people are repeatedly getting the 3600 and 5000 Vu/Airport tasks too, it's the only way they can be scoring 90,000. Game of pure luck, no skill required.
And it seems to me that everyone who gets to start right when the weekly contest starts gets all the high point tasks. Sorry. I am not going to get up at 2 AM eaastern time to start a contest just to get high point tasks.

Wrong, I started the minute the League started. I finished all 40 tasks 3 days later, and was in 3rd place. Over the weekend I slipped to #26, and further to #40 on Monday.
2 screenshots attached, the guys that finished very early at the top spots were not there when it ended.

OK well that theory is blown. It probably is just luck on whether or not you get high point tasks. I have tried getting done as fast as possible and I have tried waiting as long as possible. I suspect there is more competition in the high leagues than in the neighborhood and town leagues.

There's no pattern or secret, or skill, it's purely a game of luck.
