Scammers selling simcash, simoleons, platinum and golden keys...

Hello.

Has anyone ever promoted the following issue before?
There are sellers who claim they can add 99 million of everything in your account, as long as it is linked to your facebook account.

For this they ask for your facebook login credentials! I was shocked to find out 303 people have paid 12,00 GBP to...share their facebook login details!
At the same time, eBay behaves as if they did not know about this. They find this listing is inappropriate as it violates their listing policy, however they had no problem profiting from it!
The seller has already made 3.606 GBP already and eBay has received it's commission. I had a chat with them saying it was awkward reporting the listing.
How are they supposed to act accordingly when this listing has already created 303 sales for the seller, providing commission to eBay?

If the seller successfully adds 99 million of all the above, he/she is using EA's game to profit over abusing it.
At the same time, eBay is illegally profiting over this abusive behavior.

Another problem that comes with this is that some players have gained incredible advantages over the rest of the players. EA should look for this players ASAP.

eBay had nothing specific, other than the usual pre written answers they give everyone.

"we appreciate you have taken time to report what happened", as if they did not know.

P.S. Previous same message of mine marked as spam? You must be joking! I reported the "seller" so that his listing is removed and I have the evidence to prove it.
I posted this here so that EA does something about it and protects the rest of the players!

  • Thanks @RoccaAmare for reporting this scammer - I am like you, I can't believe people actually agree to hand over their account information in order to cheat on a mobile game - unreal!

Just for everyone's future info, you can also report through EA following these instructions: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-report-cheat-hack-scam-websites-to-ea/

When I reported an advertised hacked game site, I reported through both EA Help & SCBI Support. For Origin games, the EA reporting is probably sufficient, but the mobile games work a little differently, so I think reporting to them directly is important, too.

Thankfully, @EA_Lanna made sure this one was escalated properly, and looks like your report resulted in getting the site taken down. Thanks everyone for your help & support!

(just another example of how cheaters & scammers can monetize these hacks)
