Simcity Buildit - Battery consumption on iPad

Hello My Simcity Buildit is using 85% of battery on my iPad and keeps draining the battery even when it is plugged into a power source. Could someone help, please? Thanks!

Simcity Buildit is a battery eater. It consumes a lot of processing power. We tried it on many devices, all with the same results.
