Technical support helped me figure it out... The whole freaking stupid reason that Google Play was telling me no longer compatible?

Because my display resolution was set to HD and not FHD or WQHD.

Seriously. That was it. I upped my resolution, rebooted phone and then it let me update the game.

Freaking seriously.

When is there going to be a 2.0 with a big update ? It’s all feeling a bit samey same now and could use a good shake up.
