Simcity Buildit barely playable after update, and annoying

Today i automatically got an update for simcity buildit, and now the graphics have changed here and there, but more importantly i cant zoom out anymore, or barely noticeble amount. also i cant tilt u...

    Hello all,

    To improve performance on your device some graphics features such as the zoom out limit and street lights have been removed. This is to ensure that SimCity BuildIt can run as smoothly as possible on older devices.

As you said, with no drama, the game is unplayable. I can't see my city in perspective and plan where to put or reallocate stuff. After the update I played for 1h combinin these last 5 days....

I use my iPad to play the game. I thought upgrading to iOS version 9.0.1 was the cause. My issue is doing things in my own city is fine. Seeing the trade market is fine. But, going to a neighboring city causes the app to freeze then close. 

EA asked me to comment here, btw. I'd asked on Twitter...so they ARE monitoring replies even if they don't reply here.

      It's been weeks, and still can't play anymore on my iPad with the latest iOS updates.

      Just crashed on start-up or within about 20 seconds.

      Seems like the game is trying to make an external call and crashes -- but that's just a hunch.

      The iPad is really unhappy after the crashes too.

      This isn't a good answer. My tablet is less than a year old, it isn't an old device!!! I cannot zoom out of my city at all! It isn't that it's limiting my zoom out, there is no zoom out, I am fully zoomed in on my city and cannot zoom out at all.

      This so called improvement isn't running smoothly at all!!!

      So basically you're saying get a new device if we want to be able to zoom out?

      I have enjoyed this game very much and am very upset to see this dismissive response. It seems nothing will be done to fix this issue that so many people have???

      I hardly have an "old device" my s4  was capable of handeling the game fine. And now you want to limit me, because older devices might have problems.

      If people with older devices have problems thats tough for them, but thats no reason to limit EVERYONE without option.

        Well still no resolution to this problem i see, i for one will not be playing this game liek this..

    Ten days since my last report and it's worse. Moments ago, I opened the iPad app and less than 60 seconds after downloading updates, it closed itself.

    A few days ago, I deleted the app, rebooted, reinstalled it, went through the tutorial, and refreshed my saved city. Obviously that was a waste of time!

      Wauw almost a month later and i still cant play this game on my S4 anymore..

      I cant zoom out, nor pan down. And my s4 is not a older device. why dont you let ME make that judgement ?..
