Simcity Buildit Mayor's challenge event track issues

Yeah so i've tried to unlock as much as I can and i've been grinding the game perfectly ever since I picked it up yet I can't reach the end of the Rio Carnival track. I can't even get the Flower Festival's tier completed. I used over 10 golden tickets, i've been in first place in the mayor's challenge and I still am. Im doing as much as im "physically" able to do and yet im at a standstill whenever it comes to finishing this track. I've seen multiple people who are no where near as progressed as I am city wise and mayor's challenge wise yet they've been ahead of me in the track since atleast yesterday. I know for a fact that the only way anyone could possibly beat that track "naturally" is by having around atleast 60 golden tickets and a whole lot of time on your hands. The time part isn't an issue but the golden tickets part is since it would take multiple month's worth of grinding and lost oppurtunities on tracks along the way. But the biggest issue is knowing that since these players haven't had to use golden tickets because they haven't even completed nearly as many assignments as me so they don't need the golden tickets, that means they used money to get to the end of the track. I would think they didn't use that much but considering that they had less than half my plumbob points so therefore obviously like half or less of my contest points yet they're that far ahead of me that means they spent atleast $150 dollars on beating this track. Please take this into consideration if you're the ceo or whoever is in charge of this track. Maybe make a premium version of those tracks so that free to play players know that thet HAVE to spend money in order to complete it or give players more contest points at once like 150 or 130. Im fully aware that the only way I could have gotten to the end of the track would be if I had like 60 golden tickets saved from about a month or 2's worth of grinding and that just isn't viable. Its also just clearly not fair to see people who (Im not trying to be rude at all btw) are no where near as good as me at the game getting rewards that I can't even get close to getting all because of literal paywalls. I know its not technically a paywall but at the same time it technically is. A large amount of the player base won't be able to obtain those rewards unless they have a stock pile of golden tickets which could take who knows how many months to save up and thats just not realistic expectations to have in the slightest, or you spend like $150-$200. Its just not fair at all and I don't really like how greedy this game is starting to seem. 3,230 contest points is way too large of a goal for only getting 20 contest points per assignment. I love Simcity like heck I got a population of over 160,000 people in less than a week, im pretty sure I like the game and that I know what im doing. Please treat your playerbase right because even if you're doing all of this for the money then it would probably be better to make things more more apparent in preperation for the ones who know they're gonna spend money and the ones who know they're not gonna spend money. In the end it'll only make the playerbase trust you more so there will be more playtime and therefore more chances to ask people to buy stuff. And if you're not doing all this for the money then please just do it to make the game enjoyable its pretty sad to know I'll never be able to get the Rio Carnival even though I did as much work as I possibly could. Btw I understand thats its completely fine to gem and buy stuff on mobile games if you want to but thats the problem I don't want to.

  • @contochiuso Thats pretty obvious... The point is how? You can only build so many houses and expand so much/earn so much at a time. These are the things you have to take into consideration for a growing playerbase but they don't. Its only inevitable that the majority of the playerbase will be hardstuck unless they pay real money. Do better Devs. But hypothetically how many houses would that be? Maybe like 100 houses/upgrades to get 2,000 points or 50 houses/upgrades to get 1,000 points? Ya know... Way too much? Do the math thats clearly not happening naturally for anybody.
