I bought some SimCash with real money, then used that to buy 5 more storage spaces, taking me up to 115. I still had that storage this morning, but roughly 5 hours later it’s gone and I’m back down to 110. My SimCash and simoleans are as they were after purchasing the extra storage, so I don’t think the game’s reverted to an earlier save. How do I get my purchase back?
UPDATE: I reported the problem and was sent a copy and paste email from someone who clearly hadn’t understood the problem. For the next customer service person that reads this: IT WAS NOT TEMPORARY STORAGE. I PAID FOR IT SEPARATELY FROM THE MAYOR SEASON PASS.

If you haven't already done so report it to EA using the report system. The same thing happened to me. I don't think they understand that they not only took the temporary storage away they also took the storage we bought during this season pass. We just want our storage back. I don't need anyone else to tell me the temporary storage was temporary. I understand it was temporary. I know exactly how much was temporary. Now I hope the confiscation of my storage is temporary

I didn’t collect a temporary increase. I just paid SimCash to buy the necessary bits to upgrade from 110 to 115.

I concur with this. I have checked everything EA has released about the mayor's pass and nowhere does it mention that the storage rewards are temporary. Please return them immediately or be guilty of theft. This is the latest of a long series of issues with Simcity Buildit that EA has either caused because of their greedy policies or their apathetic approach to customer issues. It is time to find a journalist that was bring these corrupt issues to the general public and show EA that their continuing criminal activities should be curtailed immediately and compensation be rendered to all customers affected by their crimes.

They probably have something in their T&Cs about being allowed to revoke anything they like. I’ve been surprised by how intrusive the monetisation has become. I paid for the game, then realised there were adverts, then the adverts started popping up whenever they liked (for example when I queued up some goods in a factory), then new regions were created that take you back to the beginning in terms of having to buy power stations every 5 minutes. I’ve stopped expanding my city because you run out of storage if you want to collect items to increase storage or land. This is the only time I’ve paid to expand my storage and then EA disappeared it. Everything is a chore, like Epic projects, which wipe out your treasury and fail if you aren’t online for the whole 24 hours. I think this might be time to quit and avoid EA in future.
