Suggestion: upgrade Club Chat with mentions
I wish in the club chat we could @mention someone and it would notify that member. It would help if multiple conversations are happening. I suppose it could be difficult to do with non-english lette...

The best solution (for now) is to use discord, you can remain anonymous if you want.
The chat of the game is kinda bad and I guess doesn't save much text to make the game fluent, but it doesn't serve the purpose of wars, in a few minutes the chat is lost, and there are generally important messages to be pinned there so everyone can read. Of course, any suggestion to improve it would be great, personally, a private chat, being able to add as friends and not only depend on the club, in fact, the game is quite asocial in this aspect.
@BlazinsZ now that I know how fast your game play is, I agree with the original premise of the thread. A mention function would be useful. But, as far as non-war players go, it's not really needed. And you are correct: chat is definitely anti-social.
For that I would suggest instead of player mention, we have private chat, a short list of decent emoji, a short selection of inventive yet readable fonts, & the ability to turn off the foul language filter or at least make it layered (lo,med,hi)). Just some things to make it more sociable.
