Global trade unnecessarily bogs the game down (and creates crashes). It's implementation increases bandwidth by forcing a visit to the sellers city. Visiting a sellers city is sometimes desirable so this should remain an option within the global trade interface but the default should be much simpler and lighter in bandwidth, faster in response time, as in offering a default catalogue of items currently for sale, searchable by item type and price, and keeping all unsold items in date order within other search parameters. Currently, game servers keep rejecting my requests because the are overloaded, "under maintenance" showing me as offline when I am not etc. To prevent overload only allow refresh of contents or loading the next page about every 4 seconds.
The social aspect of the game could be improved by adding features not currently implemented. For instance:
Visiting other towns is cool but should be enhanced with other features to allow players to help each other out. As proposed examples, the game could be improved by allowing a visiting neighbor to help out besides buying things for sale by doing things like: Removing trash, delivering water, pumping septic tanks, sending an energy battery (or brisk wind, load of coal etc), sending a substitute teacher, fixing potholes, sending a nurse or doctor, gambling, sightseeing, etc to correspond to each dimension of gameplay. Also, once the player has enabled disasters perhaps unleashing mini disasters on neighbors also could be implemented in a fun and challenging way. Both players should have opportunity to benefit from these interactions.
Currently, finding other friends for neighbors is also not easy. The is system is not as straightforward for android users. It is easy in other EA games to use a unique origin ID. The Google ID for google play does not appear to be a unique identifier. We need a universal unique identifier to help players find each other and connect.
Great job at initial concept and launch. I look forward to being here to play the game as it grows and improves.

EA managers: Redesign Global Trade HQ!
To supplement previous comments, Global Trade is a significant hindrance in SimCity Build It. A couple of changes could make it better:
- Expand the number of choices per screen. It is currently quite limiting for higher-level players who have many different items to keep in stock.
- Limit the number of listings for a certain item in each screen (eg. 1 listing per item). I think that I can speak for most of us who are tired of seeing screens filled with Burgers, Cheese Fries, and Sugar and Spices! (This may have a beneficial effect in encouraging players to sell harder-to-find items).
Thank you!
