Hi. I'm in the market for a tablet that I will mostly be using for SCBI. It seems like Samsung has the only decent ones but I've heard of terrible problems specifically with this game.What Samsung tablets do /do not run SimCity?I can't get an apple because my city is saved on Google play. I bought a dragon but I'm returning it bc it has poor screen quality and is snow. Any recommendations on a good Android tablet for this game would be YUUUUGE!!Thanks!!!

You should be able to transfer your android city to apple if you go via Facebook. if you go to the maintenance screen on your city and choose the log in to Facebook option which will save your city to your Facebook account. You then need to install the game on an apple device and play through the tutorial. When you gat to the point where you can save your new city go to the maintenance screen and choose the log in with Facebook option. You will then get the choice to continue with the city you have just created or load the city already linked to your Facebook account. If you choose the Facebook option your old city will appear in place of the one you just created. You can then go back to the maintenance screen and choose the sign in to game centre option which will save your city to your apple account.I don’t like Facebook personally and don’t use it but a friend used this method to transfer his city from an old amazon device, which essentially android, to his new iPad and it worked fine.Hope this helps.

The Samsung tabs do run the game, but the development team have not optimised this games graphics for the latest ones.For example, latest Samsung Tab S6; change nothing and the game defaults to low res and HUGE icons, almost unplayable. If you set the resolution to 25% in Game Launcher, it is better and playable, but far from what it should be.Speed wise, its obviously fine.I did raise a support call for this a few months ago, but was fobbed off, they weren't interested.

I have played the game on Samsung Galaxy TabA and would definitely not recommend. Performance is slow and the screen judders, especially when trying to collect stuff from factories and move buildings around. I also play on a Huawei T5 Mediapad which runs their enhanced version of Android. Speed and graphics are very good but does have the slightly annoying larger icons which can get in the way of things.

Check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, not to be confused with S6e. Both Apple and Samsung produce and sell products that are high-grade, mid, and baseline quality. *Read information online prior to purchasing and if needed, chat online with the company you're buying from if you live in an area where you are unable to visit a store. *Please note: I do not work for nor do I own stock in Samsung, but I have been using Samsung phones since 2006 and I have never owned any other brand of tablet. I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. 8 gigs memory, 256 gigs storage. Worth every penny. An upgrade from a Tab S3 which was an upgrade of a Tab S (which I play my feeder on). The S3 had a LOT of problems. The S6 has all of Samsung's standard bloatware, which is fairly easy to ignore. (Just wish I could permanently delete Google Assistant & Bixby.) I have also used a Yoga 3 Pro that wouldn't even load SCBI. Love Samsung products and reccomend one to play SCBI on. If you can afford the price tag. I lucked into this one on ebay for under $600 USD.

@teppum Now that I see it, that is my screen as well. I have never gotten it to zoom out any further. My original Tab S came with Lollipop and resolution adjustment.☹️☹️ I could zoom out to see the entire city. I see what you are saying. Never really bothered me. Now it does.

@Mahler1989Thanks. I tried doing this on a friend's apple but it would only ever suggest the city he last saved on his Facebook account. This happened even when I logged out of his FB account and onto mine.

I've heard of people having the same issue. I'm glad it worked out for your friend. Seems like it's hit or miss.

I've heard claims that saving to Facebook doesn't work the same way as Google play and therefore is less reliable when switching devices

If anyone has do or info on this please share!!!

@HalflifeNotHalo Hi, I think the problem here is that if you have previously saved a city to Facebook you cannot get rid of it. So when you try to log in to Facebook with your new city you get a message saying that another city is already linked to that account and it won’t let you override it. I think the only way it works is if you have a clean Facebook account that you have never used previously to play the game.
