You can then use the newly created city to sell stuff to your main city by signing between them both in your GameCentre/GooglePlay settings.
I've set up a second city and got it to 10,000 to unlock the GTHQ, I'm pretty disappointed with how hard it still is to get Dozer blades. Not that it matters cos I can't get the two cities connected through Google play anyway. There's literally nothing to do except fulfil shipments now, can't imagine I'll play much longer if expansion is this slow.

trying to get dozer blades, have purposely stayed at level 10 to allow me to expand storage and land easily but have tried for 3 days now and cannot get them, doing my head in now.
- 11 years agoI am level 72 with a half 1 million population and I can find the dozer blades. When you are looking for them in the global trade center try clicking on an item that you don't normally buy , or an unpopular item like the lightbulbs... You can find the blades quite often because they are not advertised and will be in with the item that is advertised ,
they're there it just takes a while to find them good luck I have found more than five in one day.- Anonymous11 years agoI find that hard to believe.......I've tried looking at only unpopular products and they've never got blades available. Why would someone advertise light bulbs but not dozer blades, which will 100% go immediately for top price? The only people i can think of are newbs, so I tried looking at level 10 items (steel, wood, seeds, nails, shovels, hammers, plastic) but still nothing.
What I can't get my head round is how much it would cost in dollars to expand everything, 24 for one item, need between 6 and 12, all three items........averaging 720 for one area. That's hundreds of pounds to open everything, are people seriously paying that?
If course an easy way of fixing it is if you get as far as someone's city, either lock others out or simply give everyone one of the items. They are FICTIONAL after all.

Its like this: you start playing and like it so you pay some money. maybe you spend some more. then you hit your limit and don't spend anymore. You probably paid a fair price already. And You see the game doesn't have that much variety, just random variations on a theme and thinking to yourself, who needs cheese to build a house?
Those lucky dip items are always way short on one of them after a while, so its clear its not totally random ;-). And why so difficult to set a sale price except default and max? And and and.....you play anyway because it does look nice and you feel you made the city. But you don't pay, you know it makes no real difference, paying and playing differ by only one letter....from the view of the makers of the game, you are taking resources away from paying newbies. You can stop playing now, its never going to change anyway.
- Anonymous10 years agoI am level 18. My storage is maxed at 500. My beach expansion has been completed. All my available land has been unlocked. My VU tower is at lvl 15.
With some patience you can do it all without parting with your hard earned cash. I get expansion items every day which I sell off in the global HQ or to my neighbours.
I could buy lots more. How? In HQ I click on many items I do not want or need to check what else is for sale, as often their non advertised sale items are the more interesting ones to me.
Just don't give up and arm yourself with some patience.
