This past weekend was the epic beach double points not working?

Hi all, just did my first epic project this weekend and switched to beach specialty...but i noticed that i didn't get double points when i finish the task? am i missing something? or was it not working?

    The points are already doubled - so the buildings would have been showing 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 points instead of the usual 1 / 2 / 3 / 4.
