Too many beach items in trade

I can see from your post that you have been playing for a while. I have seen this as well.

Still a problem with the GTHQ. I did write a post about this very same topic several months ago. And yet EA had no intention on fixing the GTHQ. I saw an article written on this very same post back in the spring of this year saying that players have heard that ones game gets "filtered" to where we cannot purchase the items needed in order to advance our city.

It does go deeper than that I'm afraid. Why when you are saving resources for a trade, either by plane or boat, why do the bubble offers want to buy the sane items? In other words, you would sell by being enticed by the offer to sell but you need those items for a cargo shipment or upgrade. This happens way beyond the odds. Give me odd like that in the lottery and we would all be millionaires.

Is this intentional by EA? Maybe, maybe not. Is it because EA wants to take all of your resources to get you to pay money to play?

Yes I have the same problem. Literally every item that comes up in my global trade is beach item. Occasionally I may get lucky if I click into a beach item there may be other useful items in that city’s trade. But it’s not worth the effort to buy items anymore. 

I played for awhile on my phone a couple years ago , and there were always times there was nothing but sugar in the global trade, there were some suggestions back then I think it was to delete any sugar you had in your inventory or something ? It seemed to get fixed. 

After that it was still a bit annoying the global trade. , I really believe they have an algorithm to make sure they don’t show any items you actually need !!! But occasionally you could find some useful items. But this beach item thing is ridiculous. It’s really enough to make me stop playing. Is there some way to fix it ? I know with the sugar thing there was some ideas back then I can’t quite recall ? I’m open to suggestion ?

If they stopped force feeding us with beach and mountain gear as "prizes" and players stopped advertising them for sale we would all stop seeing the global market full of them! 🤔
