Can we take some solace in the fact that we have clear evidence now that our opinions are actually taken into consideration, and also at least wait if and until the idea crashes and burns before we renew our digital pitchforks? 🤔
I can understand the feeling, but I don't assume it in such a way, it is not only the intention, it is solving and knowing how to listen. I can tell they heard the community (kind of) but it's a poorly executed favor.if the community still complains, that is EA's fault, not the community as a group of people impossible to satisfy.
the detail is that we can't pinpoint without seeing the context, and then create an observation and then draw a conclusion from the community. Yeah they heard that, but come on, they not only broke wars, also a lot of COM players came here saying, oh EA I see you modified wars, but, why we have to deal with that? I'm a builder player, please remove those com tasks you added, and this is already old and EA has not wanted to eliminate them despite the decline in popularity.
so when I look at the '' update '' I not only focus on that they looked for the way to finish bubble teams, but I all put everything on a weight scale and look.
The idea isn't bad actually! I can say thanks but yeah keep going EA because... I mean, now we have these wars and... come on.
The players who before says that hitting and they stay bubbled wasn't a strategy, I guess they can also see that hitting one single city with jackpot and buster over and over again, making 80000 first hour isn't a strategy also... uh.. They just took something bad from us to give us another bad, but if we can say thanks for taking that bad away, lol.
The other problem that makes the community seemed like tired, is the horribly problem about hackers that is in the whole forum, It seems that there is not a single player who can say "I have never seen a hacker" and that is really serious
We can all says a big thanks when the thing is finally complete.
Shield Buster isn't a bad idea, in my opinion they can solve be: 1. after used in one city you need to wait 20 minutes to use again in that city, that prevents the whole team just using one city of the enemy to make too much points. 2. Medikits need to be more challenging, all players having 30 of that means they can launch like 200 shield buster per war, totally out of control. 3. The enemy is not getting the items when is bustered, that also damaged the balance, when you gets online and just see the enemy already have 80.000 points, only one city in your team is bubbled, no one can respond the same cuz no items, almost all say: oh this is boring let's wait next war.
In our club we try to hit all the members to give them the ability to fight back so we also get items by their respond, how is that? a vs game where you just help the opponent? like come on wake up fight with us we're getting bored. This shows a failure in the design.
I can thank EA for listening, but please keep doing it, 🙂
EA has to stay interested, I know it can be overwhelming to see a lot of complaints, but I think these forums in such a way are to show that, and I think that as players (it's my way of seeing it) we have a responsibility to point out what they are doing well and what they are doing wrong, so I glad that you @robotechnology80 show the good points 😃

EA should improve shield buster...
The player who gets hit by S.B. should automatically receive all the rewards (war supplies & war simoleons) for the buildings being repaired. This would make Wars more interesting & more balanced.

No reason why they could not modify it to require 5 medkits, make it more expensive. It may make it use more selective.
I am also not sure it should work on a city that is only under a brolly... it probably should only work if the city is domed.
In terms of a city losing repairs, this could do evened up by adding an item multiplier to some of the repairs that are the result of attacks after the SB, as they have done with war deliveries.

Couldn't agree more with this, which is one of my main points. For years, that's exactly what a vocal section of us did, and although it took much longer than it should have to implement, EA did do something close to what we asked for. Now, as for the portions that we think still need tweaking, I'm all for letting them know how to keep improving. My main issue is with those players who simply hear about a new feature and immediately start complaining about it, sight unseen, and when they were more than likely the same ones who suggested/begged/harassed EA to fix the problem in the first place. Unfortunately, there are many (maybe not most) players of SCBI who will complain, regardless, and don't even want to give new features a chance or figure out how to make the changes work for them. There's a lot that can be improved with this game, but I just wish we could give what looks like honest attempts by EA/TrackTwenty toward 'fixing' complain issues a genuine chance before piling on the hate.- 6 years ago@robotechnology80 one thing that would help would be an accurate change log for game updates. We have the limited info, marketing updates, posted on FB etc but the actual changes are never shared. So yes, positive changes should be given a chance but it would be good, and pretty normal, to actually know what has changed upfront!
