I have a samsung table running android 5. I have been playing Simcity Buildit for years on that. On the latest update, 1.57.6, I was not able to update. Playstore said the game is incompatible with my device. I didn't save the game to my google account. I got all my progress and buildings with the tablet and can't login with the old app. Is there anyway to make it working again? Thanks for all advice.
i think your problem is probably the android version rather than the actual device. my feeder city is on a device that has android 7 and it took the latest update just fine although the market is a bit slow on it. if you can update your os you can maybe, possibly, play again but that will do nothing to save your city.

I read somewhere that they were phasing out compatibility with older Android versions, you'll need to get EA to confirm that though but I think it's a precursor to whatever they plan to do to us in the near future 🤔
