A "confirmation button" do you really want to spent "X" simbucks?
or
An UNDO button like you have "Y" minutes to undo this purchase you may have made by mistake.
+1 I have the same problem many times... I spent simcash that I do not want to... by mistake... some games proprose confirmation... why not simcity? I do not pay any simcash before confirmation is not active! Do the same, no confirmation = no pay !!
Agree. For player retention, EA needs to protect both the hard-earned SimCash and the SimCash that costs players real money to buy.
The two areas where I keep accidentally spending SimCash in SimCity Buildit are the new station passenger slots and the bottom ribbon where you pick decorations for the city. And sometimes it’s a LOT of SimCash!
Confirmation of purchase is the easiest fix, as it is just one more automatic pop-up (one-off coding)
- “undo” is much more complex and costly, as once items have been registered to the account, even in other games, it seems that the only way to refund is to intervene manually every time.
I really hope the Sim City team is reading this - please consider 😉
