Unfair

What's with the limit cap,,if I've bought a season pass then surely this is up to me how far I go along it ,,what if i was taken ill or had a holiday booked so would miss a week,,totally unfair what difference does it make to the game if someone completes track before alloted time,,why do you always do this??
