Hi PinnacleValley,
You're right, something of what I wrote on that thread should have been removed by Darko. But If you remember what HopeUGotKevlar wrote, after my first post he became very, very offensive with me, so I tried answering him without overtaking the limit, and somehow I still think I didn't. At the end it hasn't been a nice show, for both.
I don't need a PM to trust you, as I said before I have a big opinion about you and I'm old enough to understand, there's no explanation needed🙂
BTW, I use to read this forum everyday since 2 years ago (not writing so much, doing it only if I got something not useless to say), before wars were added to the game, reading every new thread or post, that's why I think 200 is an exaggerated but reasonable number (not to count same mayors expressing their opinion in different posts). But even if it would be 500, that percentage wouldn't change a lot, from 0,015% to 0,037%! 1000? 0,07%!! 😉
(FYI, I used the equation signed accounts/100=complainers/x to find the percentage, named x)
Don't want to act as a teacher, but let me tell you this: in my life, I have been a game operator on another RTS game (not EA) for long times, an important game that still exists and have a forum system maybe even bigger than SCBI's one.
Providers and players got very different points of view, as for the provider is just a business. You told correct things: feeders, dead clubs, mayors not reading nor writing in this forum, mayors leaving the game for unhappiness. All true things. But at the end it's just a question of numbers. Happy customers rarely feel the need to express their happiness. In reverse, is when people are unhappy or got a problem that they need to express it, that's why these forums are always full of "negative" threads. Even with dead clubs or mayors leaving the game, the game looks still alive and kickin', still a business for EA, that won't change anything until it's a business that displeases a 0,015% to 1% of the customers.
What more to say about the bubble problem? We got very different and opposite opinions, and probably no one of us will ever convince the other!:D
But that's one of the fine things of RTS games (and life too): many heads, many opinions, and it's great and constructive to compare its as there's always something to learn, even when your opinion doesn't change. At least until not loosing correct manners, but that's not a problem concerning you, that's for sure.
Best regards!
