I find it much easier to find items when I play early in the morning.
I find I'm not frustrated because there's less demand here in the U.S.
My frustration with GTHQ isn't with being unable to find a seller with the item I want.
It also isn't about having to wait 30 seconds and try again.
Neither is it with seeing the item has already been sold after traveling to the seller's town.
My frustration begins when I tap an item to purchase but it's not really available cuz there's a problem with llamas.
To the programmers:
SC BuildIt doesn't have to have perfect, real-time performance like a stock market. If my copy of the game shows an item as "AVAILABLE", then my copy of the game should allow me to buy it. It's just that simple.
Once an item is purchased, then report the item as "SOLD" back on the servers.
Once one client reports an item as sold then credit the seller.
So what if 1 or 100 people in the real world actually end up buying "3 Chairs for $900" from one sale? IT'S A GAME!!
Let the llamas go free and graze on the fertile, green pastures with the unicorns!

The problem isn't really with the llamas -- it's the HR people that hired llamas they are related to, but who are incompetent. Since it's a game, they thought nobody would notice that the llamas never graduated from Kindergarten, and don't have any accounting skills at all. They don't even color between the lines, except by accident! They should have hired the unicorns -- they had great resumes and can use magic to fix anything they cannot otherwise solve!

The so-called "improvement" to the trade HQ has convinced me to look elsewhere for app gaming. I just wasted an hour looking for one item. I found over thirty of them that were supposedly available, but all were sold by the time the server lag processed my purchase.
EA has succeeded in taking a great game and ruining it with their refusal to even consider improving this one area that is clearly frustrating the majority of their players.
Best luck to all you mayors!

This is the worst part. They give you a message like they can't do anything about it.... Like its somehow not their fault their system is ineffective.
