Out of all the many great suggestions made by Players on the many different platforms which the game designers have chose to ignore, they come up with this latest update which makes the game worst to play? Communication is important in any multiplayer game so why is the chat button under lesser used buttons? My friend posted a message in the game and I had nothing to show me there is a new posted message. He had to text me on my phone to inform me he posted in the game. How is this a good idea? Please tell all of us how this makes the game better!!I was looking forward to the new Season with the cool looking new buildings and buying my Mayor's Pass Plus like I always do, until this update has ruined my game play. I don't pay real money for stupid updates. I will now play 100% free until I stop playing forever. I'll find a different game to help support.

Agree 100%. When you're on a team that trades and chats a lot for fun and for war planning/strategy, hiding the chat button AND the war screen button AND regions button to show a city journal and album (which are almost never used and could be under that arrow toggle instead) is absurd. Do the developers even PLAY the game? Seriously, it's bad enough they don't have chat in the design challenge screen, but this was one of the DUMBEST updates they could have done to the game. City album and journal could have easily been viewed another way and left the screen shortcuts where they were, or here's an idea, just RUN THEM ALL ACROSS THE BOTTOM LIKE EVERY OTHER SHORTCUT IN THE GAME!!! 🙂

Not a fan of the UI changes made on the recent update. The chat icon needs to be visible to your players, at all times! Mayor's Club got thrown to the curb. While on subject of Mayor's Club, I would like to suggest incorporating a way to see the whole clubs war stats (ie damage done, boosters used, repairs done, visible online status for all members, etc)

I would like to add, I have informed all my fellow players of this stupid update.

I have been playing SCB for over 5 years. I used to encourage players in my Club to buy the Mayor's Pass. Now I will not do that anymore since SCB wants to be the worst game ever.
I sure hope this mess gets fixed soon,

It makes no sense whatsoever - I now have to remember to check whether someone has posted a message in chat, which may be an urgent request for them, rather than simply seeing a simple alert when they post.
PLEASE re-instate the Club Chat link/icon on the main screen.

Agree 100%. Add me to the list of players who hate this UI. All my club members do. It was designed by people who have no clue how we play. I hope we’ll only have to suffer a short while because it will eventually turn people off the game.

Completely agree, as does everyone in my club. I also hate not being able to see that green check mark when I complete a COM assignment.

Agree, completely design flop, probably by developers and UI designers that never join Clubs or neever chats.
EA is going backwards with obvious time pressure to develop untested, buggy upgrades like the one crashing IOS 16.

I agree. We love to chat and for war the chat is indispensible.
This seems like a bug to me. I can’t believe anyone thought this was a good idea.
