I do not understand messing with something that was NOT broken! I've now been playing over ten years. I have seen many changes. This is the worst!
My whole team uses chat for almost everything. Please bring it back to the way it was!
As long as I am complaining... I am having more trouble reading the screens. The writing on the info screens, (Comp task screen) total number you have/total numbers needed screen. Everything is light blue (pretty) but I now have to have a magnifying glass to see it on my extra large iPhone. Please put the letters/numbers in black. Not everyone has perfect eye sight anymore
I can understand the issue they were “fixing.” They wanted to add more buttons, and for whatever reason, the UI considered the button capacity to be limited to 6 across on the largest resolutions, and evidently 5 on smaller. The CoM button actually didn’t even exist on some devices (iPad Pro 11”, for example, yet it showed up on 12.9” iPads and my iPhone 14 Pro Max) due to this albeit arbitrary constraint.
So, when they decided they wanted to add more buttons, this “expandable” redesign must have been their quick-witted solution to the barely existent problem; a good idea in theory, perhaps, but put into practice very poorly.
