I agree. We love to chat and for war the chat is indispensible.
This seems like a bug to me. I can’t believe anyone thought this was a good idea.

I agree, but I have to say here, EA has been responsive and dependable for years. I'm sure they will fix it. If not, we will all keep writing. Hiding the chat behind a button is a clue that the designer does not play the game. I am thinking they will fix it.
