Solved

Your device isn't compatible with this version.

Out of the blue when loading the game I got this message: "Hello, Mayor! This version of the game is no longer supported. Please update your game."

Than I get redirected to Google Play Store and it says that "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

What happened? As I was reading some other post it seems this happens with some frequency with other players.

How do we fix this? Or this is the way you treat your players?

Thanks

Could you please try clearing your cache by opening your apps from System Settings > Google Play Store > Clear the cache and any updates. Restart your device and open GP Store to download any store updates.

If this doesn’t work, please try removing and re-adding your Google account e-mail by going to System Settings > Accounts.

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks, it did work. Unfortunately cash didn't even pile up during this lost week.
