How to use SCURK

I've heard about Simcity 2000 Urban Renewal kit, but I don't know much about it. I don't even know how to access it. Is it through the game? Is it a program separate from the game, or is there a way to access in the game itself? and also, I think there's a file with a list of pre-made art that I heard you can use to give your city an different appearence. How can you use it, as in, how you can modify your city's appearence?

I don't get it. So does that mean that the Origin version doesn't come with the SCURK program, only with the files? You still didn't answered how do I access the program, only what it is. Is there an .exe for it, for example? Or, again, is it acessed by the game itself?

From the info I can find online, you should search for "urban renewal" not scurk. It is a separate program, although you may have a sc2k menu choice about applying tile sets.

If the Origin version is running thru dosbox, then you should be able to find the urban renewal executable & run it. I'm not sure if the windows version includes it. It's a little unclear, as most of the info I can find is from about 8 years ago.  hope that helps
