Plss help me what to do
I bought the SimCity 2013 deluxe edition through epic store and yes, I downloaded and played at my old laptop, but I have to delete because I have to switch to a newer laptop. When I search my library at epic games it was not there anymore. so, I have to go to the website, but it wants me to pay again to play. then I open my manage account i went to history of recent purchase the SimCity 2013 that I bought is there. What to do plsss help....ERROR CODE SMCY-2
I'm unable to launch my Simcity 2013 game from the EA app. First I get this error: ERROR CODE SMCY-2. The second error I get when I click 'okay' after the first one is that I'm not connected to the internet. Which is not true ofcourse, Just spent €20,- on a game that I''m unable to play. :( Can anyone help? Thank you so much!
SimCity 2013 not working
Hi, I bought the Sim City 5 Complete Edition on sale and I'm facing the following issue: When I click on the "Start Game" button, it says "Connecting to Update Server" and then displays the error message: ERROR CODE SMCY-25: Could not connect to the SimCity update server. Please try again or refer to the customer support link for assistance. I've already tried everything, including disabling the antivirus, checking compatibility with different Windows versions, and reinstalling everything I found on the internet. I live in Russia, and I understand that I won't be treated well, but I'm asking for help if anyone knows how to solve this problem. I've already tried using VPN and other methods to bypass the ^Russian^ blocks, but nothing worked. I really want to play my childhood game, despite my background and the fact that I have no influence. P.S. The text was translated using a translator, so there may be some inaccuracies. I hope it will be clear I wrote in support, but I think the Russian region is in a bathhouse right nowcan anyone help?
Hello everyone, I have a physical copy of SimCity 2013 that I registered on the Origin platform over ten years ago. I haven’t played it for a long time and have forgotten my account details, including the password. Today, I tried uninstalling the Origin platform and reinstalling the game from the disc, but the installer forces me to run it through Origin (which, as everyone knows, has already been discontinued). As a result, even though I still have the physical game, I can’t use it anymore. Does anyone know if there’s a way for me to log in to the game again — even if it means playing offline or without launching it through the platform?SIM CITY EA PRODUCT CODE LANGUAGE ERROR
When Launching SimCity(2013) i get the error code "The product code you have redeemed for SimCity does not support the currently selected language" after contacting support they have said this is due to an issue with the product code supplied by ea play when connected thru Xbox game pass. they said to report the problem here for it to be fixed, they also said it is a known issue
SimCity won't launch. EA failed to launch error.
I have tried launching the game on two different accounts that own the title. I have reinstalled EA, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, turned off the firewall, run as admin, logged out of EA and back in, run some kind of command prompt thing, nothing works. I am super frustrated that I am not able to play a game that I paid money for.
SimCity 4 compatibility
Hi guys, Not sure if i'm posting this to the correct forum, but I was trying to use the My Sim feature in SimCity 4 with the sims from the Legacy Collection, but the import tab in SimCity 4 is greyed out. I know that the installation directory was changed with the Legacy Collection, so not sure if that's an issue, but just wondering if any of you have had success with this?
SimCity 4 Deluxe does not launch or crashes
I solved this issue by locating the SimCity .exe file and changing the compatibility mode of the game to Windows 8. Instructions: Since I have the game on Steam, I navigated to the game executable in \Steam\steamapps\common\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps Right-click on SimCity 4.exe and select Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab. Under the Compatibility mode dropdown, select Windows 8. Click OK. Start the game. Edit: I paused the game, built some basic power, water and zoning, unpaused, and then the game crashed and wouldn't recover. ☹️ edited title for clarity: @BlackjackWidow
SIMCITY 2013 - installation from CD failed
Hey I bought in 2013 the SIMCITY 2013 limited edition and wanted to share this awesome game experience with my kids... so we are trying to install it on a windows 11 PC but we get into troubles when the Origin window pops up asking for us to connect online. Even though I have a valid EA account, it doesn't regonize it... maybe the Origin thing is too old... How can I install the game on the PC without out having to go online ? I am having issues with the 2013 SimCity game. I bought it today and the game loads to about ninety percent and then gives the SMCY 26 error code. EA support has not been helpful. I spent hours trying to fix this with no success. I repaired the game in the EA app reinstalled it into a fresh folder outside Program Files checked folder permissions set the EA app to run as administrator confirmed that no antivirus is active deleted leftover files from Documents and Local AppData restarted and updated my PC disabled startup apps and tried running the game in Windows 7 mode. My PC meets all system requirements. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I do not know what else to try.
Region locked game
Hey, game was gifted to me years ago, physical copy. I tried installing it but can only install it in Polish Hungarian or russian. Support refuses to help, even though I found this post and an older reddit post from over 10 years ago saying EA gave them an English key of the game so they could install the game in English. This lead me to believe support does honor physical purchases of the game. However, I was told that physical copies are not honored, that had the game been purchased from the EA or Origin app, that they would have helped me. I wanted to ask if anyone has dealt with this, has a friend who dealt with this, and how realistic is it to expect EA support people to grant me the same offer. If I shouldn't count on this, let me know, I'll go kick dust and give up on playing this game again then.SIMCITY
I'll launch it from the EA app, it says whatever about permissions and then the launcher opens and says its got an update to do. Update finishes and it says that my network connection is not connected(which makes no sense since it just downloaded an update but whatever). Tells me I have to reload into Singleplayer which is fine and all I want to do anyway. Well the problem is that when I click single player and the launcher restarts, it just redownloads the update again and the cycle continues. HELP PLEASE I have removed the program completely and reloaded it i included an upgrade and did a maintainence check on it unfortunately makes no difference.
