Re: Sim City 4 code doesn't work

@EA_Cade , there's another forum thread right now (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-SimCity-Games/Simcity-4/td-p/8923659/page/2) that says you helped someone figure out how to redeem their original SimCity 4 CD keys onto the EA Play app?

I was cleaning out my stuff and found my old copy of Sim City 4, complete with manual and CDs and CD Keys. I downloaded the EA Play app on my current Windows 10 machine and tried redeeming the CD code, and it says "The product code you entered is not valid. Please re-enter the code.", despite me being the only owner of this game for years, back on my original computer. Is there a way to get it work still? Thanks!

    It's possible that the code was simply redeemed already. If you reach out to an advisor at http://bit.ly/EA_Contact_Us we should be able to track down the account it was redeemed on for you, or get you a replacement code that does work depending on the issue 🙂

    I have the exact same issue. After searching online to resolve the issue I came across all these threads. I contacted EA support and they said I had to contact the retailer for a new code. The retailer was called GAME and they ceased operations in Ireland around 2012. I used to love playing this game but as I already own it I don't see why I should have to purchase it again. I even sent a picture of the box, CDs and the product code to EA support but had no luck ☹️
