@SightedBike273 - Thanks for the info, can you please tell me what the error message is?
Are you logged in to Origin on the same account you used to purchase SimCity?
- Log in to your account at https://www.ea.com/
- Go to Account Settings > Order History
- Verify that your SimCity purchase is there
If your purchase is listed as "Completed", make sure you're logged in to the same account in Origin.
Log out completely from Origin - choose Origin menu > Exit
Log in to Origin - make sure it's the same account as the one where you purchased SimCity
Allow Origin to complete any updates available
If you still have a problem, this type of thing usually happens because something is blocking the download.
Always run installation files "As Administrator"
Firewall and Antivirus - Make sure Origin.exe is added to exception lists.
Graphics drivers and OS are patched and updated to newest versions
Origin.exe - Set to run "as administrator"
Nahimic from MSI - this is an audio management program that comes with MSI motherboards. Disable or uninstall it. Nahimic 2 & 3 are known to cause this issue.Definitely post back and let us know whether you got it to work. If not, please provide detailed information about what is happening.
