Confirmed the bug and got acknowledgment from support that there is an active issue after the latest patch. The game was working as of 1:30 am CST, but the identified error appeared starting at about 10:00 am CST. Game still launches in single player if EA Game App is set to offline mode. Sometimes the game gets stuck in auto-launching to single-player mode. To overcome this, launch single-player mode, select multiplayer after launch, then boot back to Simcity launcher to reproduce error again.

i guess ill make a city to play around with til this is fixed im not abandoning my 180 mil oil empire
